Legal Notice

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information DT Law EP LLC ("DT Law") collects from people who visit dtlaw-ep.com, including the Family Plan Simulator and the guides (the "Site"), how that information is used and protected, and the choices you have. It applies to information collected through the Site only. It should be read together with the Disclaimer and Terms of Use.

Information You Give Us

If you book a consultation, the scheduling form asks for details such as your name, email address, and phone number, and it may let you add a short note. If you email DT Law, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write. We use this information to respond to you, to schedule and hold your consultation, to check for conflicts of interest, and, if you become a client, to provide legal services.

Please do not include Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, medical details, or other confidential or sensitive information in a scheduling note or an email before you have signed an engagement agreement. Information sent before an attorney-client relationship exists may not be protected as a confidential client communication, and DT Law cannot be responsible for sensitive information you choose to send this way.

Information Collected Automatically

Like most websites, the Site's hosting service may record basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you view, and the time of your visit. This information is used to keep the Site running and secure. DT Law does not use it to identify you personally.

The Family Plan Simulator

What you enter into the Family Plan Simulator is saved only in your own web browser on your own device. It is not sent to DT Law or to any other server. You can erase it at any time with the "Start over" button or by clearing your browser's site data. If you use a shared or public computer, clear it before you leave.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

DT Law does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics tools on the Site. Some third-party services that the Site uses, such as Google Calendar scheduling and Google Fonts, may set their own cookies or collect technical information under their own policies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you do, some features, such as the scheduling button, may not work properly. By using the Site you agree to the use of these technologies as described here.

This policy does not replace or reduce those protections. DT Law uses the utmost discretion with what clients entrust to it.

Security and Retention

DT Law uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information it holds. No method of sending or storing information over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, including for conflict checks and legal or professional recordkeeping requirements, and then delete it or keep it only as the law requires.

Your Choices

You may ask what personal information DT Law holds about you from the Site, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.
